Daytona State went on the road and defeated Albany Tech for the second time this year, 97-81 and remain undefeated at 12-0. Albany Tech used an aggressive-fouling defense most of the game to try to keep Daytona at the free throw line instead of the 3 point line. Daytona shot 43 free throws when they average 19 per game. In the end, however, Daytona ran away with it.
Breylin Garcia led the way for Daytona. He shot 8-14 from the field and 13-14 from the FT line. He had 10 rebounds including 5 offensive rebounds. Garcia finished with 30 points and 10 rebounds.
Josue Grullon had 14 points and 4 rebounds. Victor Panov finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Dylan Diaz 10 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Judd Coan had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
