Falcons WIN! DSC earns birth to Region 8 tournament after 87-83 win over Central Florida. It was the fourth time this season that these two teams have squared off. After beating Santa Fe in the first round of the conference tournament, Central Florida traveled to Daytona to see who would clinch the 2nd place spot and move on to the Region Tournament.It was a close contest, as all four of them have been. The Falcons had 5 players with double digit points. Harwin Francois come up big from behind the arc, hitting 5 three's and finishing with 19 points. Khadim Sy followed with 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Dou Gueye added 15 points and 15 rebounds. Durey Cadwell had 13 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Bryce Williams also had a very effective game with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The Falcons (25-6) advance to the Region 8 tournament which begins on March 7th in Ocala, FL at College of Central Florida. DSC will play Northwest Florida at 3:00 P.M. COME SUPPORT THE FALCONS!
