Falcons use strong second half to pull away with the Victory

The Falcons used a strong second half to pull away from Hillsborough and earn the win, 78-58. DSC forced 22 turnovers by Hillsborough and scored 24 points off of those turnovers. The Falcons came out in the second half with a great sense of urgency and outscored the Hawks 50-31. Dou Gueye finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Zubair Seyed added 16 points.

Coach Morris, "I was inspired by our energy coming out of halftime. We started the game flat, probably still thinking about our game last night. Losing the way we did verse TCC can wear on you, especially a young team like ours. What I'm proud of is that we didn't let an emotional loss in the final seconds, effect the outcome of the next game. We fought, stayed mentally focused, and played high character, intelligent basketball in the second half. Overall, I think we are growing and getting better. We need to continue to do that."

The Falcons are back at home on Wednesday against Red Devils Academy at 6:00 p.m. Come out and get loud for your 11-2 Falcons!
