Three Falcons to Participate in 2018 FCSAA Fall JUCO Classic

The 2018 FCSAA Fall JUCO Classic will be taking place at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium this upcoming weekend. The Daytona State Baseball program had three sophomores nominated to play in the JUCO Classic on Sunday at 9:00am. 

Jack Nagy, a Melbourne, FL infielder, will be playing third base for the Mid-Florida Conference in the JUCO Classic. Nagy earned All MFC Honorable Mention as a freshman after playing in all 43 games. Nagy boasted a .479 on base percentage hitting lead off for the Falcons. Nagy will major in Aeronautical Engineering.

 

  

 

Keiji Parkhurst, a Granger, IN catcher, will be behind the plate for the Mid-Florida Conference on Sunday. Parkhurst earned Second Team All MFC as a freshman playing in 33 games and posted a .305 batting average with four home runs. Parkhurst will major in Business Law.

  

         

 

 

Justin Rodriguez, a Farmingdale, NY outfielder, will play left field for the Mid-Florida Conference on Sunday. Rodriguez was 13 for 13 in steals as a freshman and had 31 runs batted in 39 games played. Rodriguez will major in Accounting.
