The Daytona State Baseball program had some luck with their 2018 schedule and were able to have a home game that fell on St. Patrick's Day. This gave the Falcons a rare opportunity to bring some Irish flare to the ball park. The next chance for a St. Patrick's Day game will be in the year 2021. The traditional college colors of blue, black, and grey were retired for the day and green became the color of the day. All of the music played in between innings was Irish themed and that included a bag pipe rendition of the National Anthem. 

The Falcons displayed their Irish spirit by sporting all green uniforms and matching green hats.

 While on offense the Falcon lineup wore St. Patrick Day helmets to the plate.
