Daytona State Baseball Races into Homecoming Weekend

The Daytona State Baseball team recieved a speedy delivery on Friday compliments of Visit Florida Racing. 

Scott Taylor, the Director of Marketing for Visit Florida Racing, said, 

"We are a Daytona Beach based race team and are big supporters of Coach Touma and the Daytona State Baseball program. Former Falcon Bo Hall worked with our team after draduating and his stint in professional baseball. We look forward to following this year's team and appreciate the opportunity to support the Daytona State College Homecoming activities."

The car was customized with Daytona State baseball decals and labeled with "Tim Touma" (Falcon Head Baseball Coach) above the driver's window.

The car will be on display outside the baseball field stands for the weekend. Alumni friends and family will be able to take pictures around the car and allowed to get inside the car behind the steering wheel for pictures.

"What a great experience provided by Mr. Taylor and Visit Florida Racing team to give the alumni and our players an opportunity to be up close to a race car. I want to thank Mr. Taylor and everyone at the Visit Florida Racing team for their support of the program and the Homecoming festivities," said Coach Touma.
